So you've decided to do a book tour! Great! Or maybe you're just looking for some places to pop in now and then and promote. Here's a list of Yahoo! Groups where you can promote your books, and the promo rules that go with those groups. As always, if you have a loop to contribute, email me or leave a comment and I will be happy to add it here!

AORAAG (Authors of Romance and All Genres) - Promotions will be done on Wednesday only... One [self promotion] is allowed per member... One [publisher promotion] is allowed per publisher, any member of a publisher may post this promotion... The announcement of being awarded a contract or receiving a great review may be posted at anytime. (full rules)

Brenda Williamson Romance Party - Promos are Mondays ONLY. Limit 2 per member.

CataNetwork-Authors - We welcome SALE news, GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS, cries for help, writing contest conference announcements and submission requests.

CataNetwork-Readers - If you post a promo, we expect you to donate a copy of the book
immediately for us to give away. You may send 1 (one) Promo post to the loop each week. If you don't want to donate a book, wait until Friday to promote your book. The 1 (one) Promo post per week rule still applies on Friday. If you send a Promo to the list, you MUST include the word PROMO: at the beginning of the Subject. eBookLove - Authors are requested to provide one free romance ebook giveaway per blatant promo posted to this list... Author Days are a chance for authors to talk about their work for a whole day on the list. Just look at the calendar on the eBookLove yahoo website and find an empty day that works for you. Then contact us to request your preferred day at ebooklove-owner @ yahoogroups .com (delete spaces). One of the list moderators will get in touch with you to work out the details and set up the calendar entry.

E-book Review and Announce - Announcements of new books without reviews are permitted from authors.

Romance Junkies Readers - Promos are scheduled for Sundays for unmoderated members. Moderated Members can post promos no more than once a week and they'll be released in order received when we don't have events.

Romance Novel Events - Authors and publishers are encouraged to join and send in their chats, contests, freebies, signings, readings, and conventions, and any changes to those events.

Romantic Suspense Fiction - This group is for authors to share and promote their book(s), but ONLY on Sundays.

Rose Marie Wolf's Discussion Group - The first Tuesday of each month is "Authors Day", a day entirely for authors to promote their books and talk about their upcoming releases. Feel free to promote your books, contests, newsletters, etc. All genres are welcome. Promos can be posted at any time, from authors of all genres, but are limited to one per week per author.
